The Weight I Carry (2018) is a short documentary focused on outdoor education and its positive effects on mental health. It is a conversation piece. Screened first at Pacific University (Forest Grove, OR) and the Clinton Street Theater (Portland, OR) in May of 2018, The Weight I Carry has begun to start conversations at festivals around the country (see below). Mental health is a prevalent issue that needs to be addressed today, both as individuals and as a country. A Final Reflection of Fall 2016 Semester Abroad

I began working on 48 Hour Film Projects in Summer 2014. It was at Kent State University, and I was eager to work with older students who had the experience I wanted. Two years later, I was in Osaka, Japan, working on my second, and have done one each year ever since.
